Job Description
The Patient Experience Supervisor is responsible for following and implementing company policies and procedures that guide and support a positive customer experience. This role will monitor staff performance in the absence of the director and ensure customers' satisfaction. Acts as a liaison between the patient, the Food Service Department, and Nursing Services. Helps train, support, & lead other ambassadors.

Job Responsibilities
- Establish relationships with patients and/or family members, frontline nursing and nursing leadership.
- Receive service requests via phone calls, email, and on-line submittals
- Enter daily patient rounds into Vocera
- Visits patients to introduce the services of the Food Service Department.
- Visits patients upon admission to educate on the food ordering process.
- May obtain food preferences/dislikes from patients and/or family members.
- Communicate all patient food needs to the appropriate area of the Food Service Department.
- Ensures that nutrition diet care orders are provided to the patient by offering appropriate menu selections.
- Assists the clinical staff in ensuring all patients' basic nutrition care needs are met.
- Visits with patients daily to assess satisfaction with all food service: including courtesy, quality, and timeliness.
- Implements service recovery interventions where appropriate. Follows up with patients to ensure that their needs have been met.
- Communicates patient-need findings with appropriate members of Support Services leadership team and Nursing.
- Demonstrates good judgment; recognizes and reports errors made in the course of one’s performance and shows accountabilities for all actions.
- Management may revise duties/schedule at any time.
- Flexibility to variable shifts, every other weekend and rotating holiday’s
- Adheres to all established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment. Complies with all OSHA regulations and other local, state and federal regulations, including HIPAA.
- Maintains compliance with ARAMARK’s standards of operation, client and within ARAMARK’s Business Conduct Policy. Maintains all records and reports necessary to regulations and codes.

Qualifications
- One (1) year of call and customer service experience.
- Must be able to interact and possess communication skills with individuals at all levels of organization, as well as clients, vendors, and sub-contractors.
- Attention to detail is required.
- Must possess flexibility towards work assignments and work well with others.
- Must be able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and to communicate effectively in writing.
- Possess motivation and initiative to perform assigned duties with a minimum of direct supervision.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
