We are seeking a Project Manager for our team based out of Phoenix, AZ. Our firm has a strong company culture of Safety, Quality, and Integrity. We are committed to the relationships we have with our employees, clients and the community.
The Project Manager is responsible for the planning and oversight of multiple construction projects simultaneously utilizing both hands-on and administrative techniques. This position will be responsible for client expectations and building relationships with new and existing clients. The Project Manager is required to balance multiple conflicting priorities while providing technical information, maintaining a presence in the field and support to the field staff. Also, needs to maximize time and resources that lead to increased value to our crews and the clients.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with the client from the start of each project to ensure clarity of the project scope and vision
- Prepare project schedule, budget and update documentation as needed
- Meet project scope requirements within scheduling, equipment, crews and budget
- Manage project scope efficiently while providing value and innovations
- Manage project-based workforce- time keeping, expenses, training and safety
- Conduct Toolbox safety meetings on-site with field employees
- Interact with operations, sales and estimating teams, ensuring proper reviews and processes are strictly adhered and any changes to the scope of the project
- Manage all aspects related to the execution of the project including safety, quality control and project integrity
Requirements
- 3 years of prior Project Manager experience
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- Strong verbal, written and organizational skills
- Must be organized, detail oriented with a positive attitude, professional demeanor and eagerness to learn
- Must have a sense of urgency problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent customer service, clear and concise written, verbal and email communications
- Willing to work in a team environment or on your own
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
