The Gallery Coordinator is the face of The Bazaar, an art and furniture gallery in an energetic and fast-paced design firm. They work to create and support the “Crimson Experience” for all who enter the studio, and serve as a design liaison for clients of The Bazaar.

Responsibilities and duties
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Own The Bazaar. This includes:
- Client relations. Cultivate B2B and B2C relationships through active outreach including the following segments: Design Firms without procurement services, Realtors, Home Stagers, Not-A-Fit CDG Referral Clients, and digital audiences. Provide consultation design services and art & accessory curation.
- Artwork and accessories sales. Oversee all aspects including pricing, negotiation, and customer service.
- Artist relations: Identify, cultivate relationships, and contract with emerging and established artists.
- Inventory management. Support the operations, management, and maintenance of inventory.
- Work with Sales and Marketing to develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the gallery and events.
- Ability to meet and exceed KPIs.
- Assist with special events.
- Hours will vary but Fridays required and some evenings if events are scheduled. Anticipated weekly hours are 20-25.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in art history, fine arts, interior design, communications or related field required.
- Retail experience, interior design experience, or experience managing a gallery preferred.
- Proven experience in developing successful relationships.
- Strong sales and marketing skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Shopify and Microsoft Office.
- Passion and a deep understanding for art and design.
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a seated or standing environment for up to 8 hours a day.
- Ability to work on a computer for up to 8 hours a day.
- Ability to use the phone for extended period of times
