Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Recruiter to join our expanding Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will collaborate with hiring managers, develop strategic recruitment plans, and drive sourcing efforts to build a diverse pipeline of talent. The Senior Recruiter will ensure a positive candidate experience, provide expert guidance to hiring teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the recruitment process. This is a hybrid position (2-3 days/week on site) based in San Diego, CA.

The Anticipated Base Salary Range: $105,000 - $139,000
In addition to your base pay, our total rewards program consists of a discretionary annual target bonus, stock options, ESPP, and 401k match. We also provide top-notch health insurance plans for employees (and their families) to include medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance, 20 days of PTO, 10 paid holidays, and a winter company shutdown.
The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience and education. - Conduct full life cycle recruiting for a variety of complex positions, managing the recruitment process from sourcing through offer negotiation and acceptance.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop tailored recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Build strong candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and leveraging social media and other platforms.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, maintaining engagement and communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide consultative advice to hiring managers on recruitment best practices, market trends, and candidate selection.
- Manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.
- Utilize data and recruitment metrics to inform decision-making, optimize recruitment processes, and report on hiring progress.
- Partner with junior recruiters, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Partner with HRBPs and Compensation to maintain internal consistency and alignment with business goals.
- Stay current on industry trends and innovative sourcing techniques to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting top talent.
- Meet or exceed recruitment activity metrics and performance objectives as established by management.
Education and Experience:
- BS/BA degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience, training, or certifications and 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of full life cycle, corporate recruiting experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and advanced recruitment strategies, including the use of social media, job boards, and professional networks.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, organizational and time management skills.
- Strong negotiation skills to manage offers and employment terms
- Proven ability to provide a high level of candidate engagement and deliver outstanding candidate experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with hiring managers and candidates across various levels.
