SUMMARY
NEHP and sister company ENGVT are a specialty Design-Build firm with locations in Williston, VT, Dallas, TX, and Phoenix, AZ. We specialize in the design and off-site construction of process piping systems in semiconductor fabrication facilities. The chip production infrastructure in the US is expanding at a record breaking pace, with new "fabs" being built by major players like Intel, Micron, Samsung, and TSMC, and Global Foundries all over the US. We are a key partner involved in the construction of these multi-billion dollar projects due to our unique skillset in modular design and construction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned.
Design and detailing of Piping and HVAC mechanical systems.
Plan and effectively utilize the general time to advance the quality and efficiency of the office.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work directly with other team members and project engineers, management of team varies with project and task. When owning a specific task, delegate and coordinate effectively with assigned supporting team members.
SPECIFICATIONS and QUALIFICATIONS

Strong CAD skills with AutoCAD Fabrication and Revit experience. Revit is our primary design tool with rapidly decreasing AutoCAD use.
Strong, detailed pipe design skills in building HVAC, process and manufacturing applications.
Understanding of construction procedures, fabrication drawing detailing requirements, and contract document (bid document) requirements.
Education and/or experience:
5 years of design experience. Experience performing pipe detailing for construction or as in-house mechanical contractor project engineering strongly preferred.
Language skills
Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from small and large groups
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to analyze financial information, identify discrepancies and provide solutions; Ability to identify problems, collect information, establish facts, and suggest solutions; Ability to develop and support conclusions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Frequent communication (verbal and listening), standing and reaching is required. Vision abilities required by this job include close-up reading and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment is usually quiet. Safety glasses and other required protection required to be worn when on client jobsites or in manufacturing areas.
