Are you an experienced automotive maintenance specialist looking for an exciting new opportunity? We're looking for a lube service technician to perform oil changes, fluid top-offs, tire rotations, light bulb replacements, and inspections at our high-volume shop. You'll build relationships with customers and advise them on essential maintenance needs. Our ideal candidate has some previous auto technician experience and the ability to learn the maintenance requirements of a variety of different automobiles. $18 - $20 hourly
Responsibilities:- Check tire pressure and tread depth, and lubricate chassis components
- Perform oil changes and fluid checks on customer vehicles, including draining and replacing engine oil, checking and filling transmission, brake, power steering, and coolant fluids
- Document all service procedures performed and parts installed or replaced
- Provide suggestions for additional maintenance depending on the vehicle's age, mileage, and other factors
- Track oil inventory and part usage, place reorders as necessary to keep the shop stocked
- Comfortable using car lifts, jacks, and other garage equipment safely
- Customer service skills are essential for this role
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Lube technician experience of one or more years or related automotive experience is preferred
