SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Coordinator assists in the development of processes and assure that there are procedures in place to allow continuous production and shipment of top-quality products to our customers that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Communicates with QA manager and others within the company to assure quality standards are in place and continuously achieved.
· Keeps and maintains quality assurance records and documentation.
· Conducts dart testing to confirm impact test (document results).
· Performs cleanliness testing conducts, submit and retain all documentation.
· Develops Corrective Action Plans (CAR’s)/8D to submit to customer. Works with production to complete and submit to customer in time frame given.
· Handles warranty package reviews and debates and submission to leadership team for approval.
· Investigates customer notifications of compliance to their quality requirements with root cause determination.
· Compiles and distributes Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) reports for new and old parts.
· Performs quality testing per customers’ specifications on various products and maintains accurate documentation.
· Keeps Return Good Authorization (RGA) and Material Review Board (MRB) areas organized, and provides a list of items in area (rework log)
· Maintains Customers Portals and completes all tasks given by customers on time.
· Performs a hands-on review of Research & Development processes to ensure good part, may require measuring, testing of parts.
· Handles burst testing of required tanks completed and on track.
· Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have a high school education or GED and must be at least 18 yrs old. Two to four years preferred in quality control, product support environment or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees. Must be detail oriented.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
