Summary
Provides quality treatment services to clients seeking assistance with substance use disorders or dual diagnosed concerns. Provides treatment planning, interventions, education, referrals, and consultations for clients in an outpatient setting. Responsible for assisting the clinical director and office manager in coordinating, planning and delivery of services to all patients. The CDCA will also facilitate groups and document client interactions, reactions and behavior in progress notes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develops individualized SUD treatment plans with client input

Facilitates/co-facilitates group therapy sessions with clients

Provides individual SUD sessions for substance use disorders

Monitors participation and progress of clients assigned to their caseload and engages client in problem solving when participation or progress is inconsistent with individual treatment plan

Assist client as needed with self monitoring crisis situations

Document all clinical services and non-billable client contact in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

Attends staff meetings as required and participates in weekly clinical supervision

Completes 90 day reviews of treatment plans for each assigned client

Completes all documentation in a timely and accurate manner, consistent with legal and ethical requirements

Establishes appropriate relationship with clients and client family members that serve to enhance the clients’ capacity for proper self-care and coping while consistently maintaining professional distance and respecting professional boundaries

Participates as a member of a multidisciplinary team to optimize client outcomes and treatment effectiveness

Maintains required licensure

Maintains professional competence through continuous learning, utilizing various methods of self-education and instruction

Adheres to all applicable standards and policies of privacy, security, safety, confidentiality and compliance, including applicable laws and regulations (Examples: HIPPA, 42 CFR Part 2)

Qualifications:
Minimum high school diploma or GED. Associate or Bachelor degree preferred. Minimum 1 years experience with treatment of adults with addictive diseases. 2 years experience is preferred.
Prefers bachelor degree in psychology, mental health or other health or social services related field. Clean driving record required. Must pass background verification and drug screen. Ability to obtain NPI and Medicaid billing numbers.
