JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers and partners on behalf of the company and actively prospecting for new accounts and maximizing sales potential with existing customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and equipment needs.
- Building long-term relationships with key clients.
- Schedule regular meetings with customers to ensure they are satisfied.
- Help sales team up-sell or cross-sell services and products.
- Ensure both the company and clients adhere to contract terms.
- Set sales and revenue targets and work diligently to meet them.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. client relations, engineers, operations) to address customers’ needs.
- Conduct work on sales follow-up activities.
- Maintaining customer relationships and ensuring customer loyalty through excellent customer service as well as meeting all client needs appropriate to their business, is a key role within Business Developer.
- Assist in developing annual individual/organizational strategic marketing plan in coordination with CEO.
- Ensure existing business segment growth and service maintaining the targeted retention rate and sales goals.
- Must consistently demonstrate the ability to independently produce positive business outcomes aligned with organizational strategic initiatives and goals to include ISO standards.
- Represent Croft in a positive and professional manner.
- Identify areas of improvement in the company and assist in creating and implementing solutions.
- Identify and investigate growth opportunities for the company.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, other job-related software/e-technology/cloud-based solutions, and CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce).
- Consistently demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach for generating new ideas with the principles of continuous improvement.
- Ability to follow specific instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Must have valid state issued Driver’s License as required to drive on company business.
- Background in customer service; industry knowledge is a plus.
- Experience tracking relevant KPIs (e.g. customer satisfaction).
- A customer-oriented attitude.
