Crate Builder / Warehouse Associate

Immediate opening for a Crate Builder / Warehouse associate - $20.00-$24.00 per hour. This is a full-time position Monday - Friday.

Crone Metals, LLC. is looking to hire a crate builder / warehouse associate for our growing manufacturing facility Denver. This position is critical to our operation to ensure products arrive safely and undamaged from transportation across the county.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to accurately read tape measures
• Some tool experience (panel saw, table saw, miter saw, power tools, etc.)
• Must be capable of lifting 100 pounds
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legal to work in the United States
• Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English
• Forklift experience is not necessary but it is a plus
• Ability to work in a team and stand-alone environment
• Able to work in fast moving environment
• Ability to handle several projects simultaneously with interruptions
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills, as there is room for advancement
• Must have reliable transportation and be on time to work each day

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Building crates to safely custom size archtiectural panels and sheet metal products.
• Properly package all components to prevent damage while in transit
• Assist with unloading and loading of trucks
• Assist with general warehouse labor tasks
• Communicate with co-workers and customers daily
• Other projects and duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 to 3 years of custom crate / pallet building experience, carpentry or equivalent.

• Valid drivers license

• Forklift certification or equivalent experience – we utilize several different types of forklifts from standard sitting, side load, telehandlers, and standing

• Able to pass back ground check and drug screen

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be comfortable doing manual labor

• Consistent work history/strong work ethic

• Must be dependable and a team player

• Strong attention to detail

COMPENSATION:

• $20-24/hr depending on experience

HOURS:

• 7:00am-3:30pm
