What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at Crossbeam?
We have momentum, and we need you to keep it going. As the first Account Manager, you will play a meaningful role in working across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and more to drive customer engagement and expansion in the AMER, LATAM & APAC regions. You will have a consultative and dynamic approach, be comfortable embracing change, be a true team-player, and love working with our growing customer footprint. You will be focused on renewing customers, upselling existing product lines, and cross-selling new products with Enterprise and MidMarket sized accounts.
You will focus on understanding your customer’s needs, helping them realize value and achieve their business objectives. The goal is to help transform how people view partnerships and how Sales and Marketing leverage their partner programs to generate more pipeline and revenue. We are the industry leader and our goal is to create great customer experiences and help companies hit their revenue targets through Partnerships.
Responsibilities include:
- Be a needle mover! Have a consultative mindset to have a deep understanding of our customers to advise them on new use cases and identify new opportunities with current customers.
- Achieve quarterly quotas and be responsible for renewals and expansion within a large book of business.
- Work with Senior Leadership to develop a strategy to ensure our customers are realizing value and Crossbeam is helping them achieve their goals.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure we’re delivering a smooth customer experience and factoring in customer feedback.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Crossbeam product and the value it delivers.
- Work with cross functional teammates in Sales, Customer Success, Product, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, and more.
These are some of your traits:
- You have at least 4 years of relevant work experience in a closing role, preferably in SaaS.
- You are passionate about business technology. The problem that Crossbeam solves — and how we are solving it — excites you. Geeking out about it will come naturally.
- You have experience working with Partnerships and understand the positive impact that partner programs can bring to helping go-to-market teams generate more pipeline & revenue.
- You know what it means to crush your quota and you chase that excitement.
- You are confident because you know your stuff. You are comfortable speaking with the highest levels of an organization with tact, sincerity, and accuracy.
- You speak your mind, have no issue raising concerns with company leaders, but are also able to “disagree and commit” when things don’t go your way.
- When you don’t know how to do something, you’ll admit it and make a quick assessment of whether it’s something you can figure out, if you’ll need help, and where that help should come from.
- You have well-honed sales chops, but are humble enough to always be learning from those you encounter.
- You just read this whole list and got more excited than concerned.
