Position Overview : We are looking for a customer service-oriented Loan Officer Assistant to assist the team with providing a great experience to clients up front! This person must be experienced with working with borrowers, running credit, calculating income, and running LP / DU.
They will also be gathering initial documentation and setting up a complete file to submit to Operations. This position requires someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks at once, and has excellent time management.
Job Responsibilities :
- Maintain borrower and realtor relationships.
- Work up applications.
- Schedule appointments / calls for the Loan Officer
- Manage the internal CRM database.
- Various other tasks assigned by the Loan Officer to support the team.
- Run LP and DU
- Pre-qualify / Pre-approve borrowers upfront.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Experience in Encompass is preferred but not required.
- Experience running LP and DU
- Experience pre-qualifying / pre-approving and structuring a loan file.
- Positive and team player attitude
- Customer service-centric and passionate about providing an exceptional level of service.
- Working knowledge of RESPA and general knowledge of all mortgage and consumer lending regulations, and loan documents preferred.
- Excellent math and analytical skills.
- Excellent problem solving / creative thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook & Windows.
Pay Range :
$17.00-$22.00
