Primary Objective & Scope of Position:
The primary objective of the Sales Trainer is to develop and deliver effective training programs that enhance the sales skills and product knowledge of the sales staff. The Sales Trainer will work with both corporately owned stores and franchisees to assess training needs and design customized training modules accordingly. The scope of the position includes conducting training sessions, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to sales staff, and collaborating with the sales management team to identify areas for improvement in the sales process and product offerings. The Sales Trainer will maintain training records and prepare reports on the effectiveness of training programs.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement training programs to improve sales skills and product knowledge of sales staff.
- Assess the training needs of sales staff in corporately owned stores and franchisees, and design customized training modules accordingly.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on sales techniques, customer service, product knowledge, and other relevant topics.
- Foster strong partnerships with vendors to ensure comprehensive content and product knowledge training.
- Utilize talent and resources within the company to deploy sales training.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to sales staff to ensure continuous improvement in sales performance.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to identify areas for improvement in the sales process and product offerings.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sales training and incorporate them into the training programs.
- Maintain training records and prepare reports on the effectiveness of training programs.
