Institutional Research Data Analyst (IR Data Analyst)

Position Summary
The Institutional Research Data Analyst is responsible for assisting the IR Specialist in gathering, organizing, analyzing,
and reporting institutional data. This position would also support and/or develop databases used for existing grants,
institutional reporting, and business intelligence. This position is funded for one academic year (July 1, 2022- June 30,
2023)

Essential Job Duties

• Assist in building and maintain Microsoft Access Desktop Databases in support of grant funded projects program

• Write queries to extract data from desktop databases and commercial information systems using Microsoft

• Write queries to retrieve data from student information systems and other institutional data sources and

• Consult with IR Specialist to assist with database and data visualization that support end users to determine

• Modify, analyze, troubleshoot, and de-bug new/existing databases.
• Assist as needed with institution-wide business intelligence projects and initiatives.

• Compile and maintain reports generated by other offices on campus.
• Assist with the development questionnaires, forms and procedures for collecting data.
• Support faculty and staff in data collection and interpretation of data
• Work with the Information Services Department regarding the capture of key data elements from the student

• Assist in the review of peer analysis, benchmarking, and other statistical studies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the IR Data Specialist and President of Crowder College.
