Primary function of a Logistics Assistant: Hardworking and versatile with proven organizational and computer skills or ability to quickly gain skills and thorough knowledge associated with transportation duties.

Duties:

• Maintain all records and documents associated with safety meetings and daily walkthrough inspections of the shop and material yard.
• Assist Service Manager with work orders for equipment and vehicle repairs.
• Implement weekly additions or revisions to our Enterprise fleet software.
• Assist with cost management by working with vendors and suppliers to ensure that we are receiving competitive pricing.
• Support Corporate and Divisions with various projects related to operations.
• Coordinate transportation logistics when vehicles are procured or disbursed.
• Process paperwork associated with incoming deliveries.
• Demonstrate competency with policy, safety, procedures, equipment, and supplies.
• Be willing to embrace Team Concept. We are most effective together.
