Job Summary

As a Human Capital Solutions Manager – Compensation, you will provide base compensation, incentive compensation consulting and compliance services to a diverse client base within a variety of dynamic industries. Compensation consulting includes performing market pricing, job evaluation, pay administration guides, and monitoring base pay effectiveness through key performance metrics and ROI analysis research, and implementing special projects including M&A transaction support. As a specialist in your role, you will work directly with external clients and our internal Benefits Plan Services and Human Capital Solution teams.

 

Your role will include evaluating current incentive plans for competitive positioning and success in meeting plan objectives, designing new incentive plans, and management of client relationships. Responsibilities may also include development of staff in a highly interactive team environment. The ideal team member will have strong communication skills, the ability to lead multiple projects and meet deadlines. Qualifications
  • BS in a business-related discipline required, graduate degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent work experience is a plus
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in compensation design, preferably with a compensation consulting firm
  • Experience in job evaluation plan design, salary benchmarking, and pay plan assessment
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams to proactively identify and resolve client issues.
  • Experience building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Effective writing, communication and research skills
  • Ability to develop and execute actions plans with details on responsibility, accountability, timelines, communication, and tracking
  • Ability to contribute to evaluation and development of new solutions or market initiatives
  • Ability to build a pipeline of potential business/sales opportunities in collaboration with other team members
  • Expertise with compensation technology software and compensation surveys is a plus
  • Experience in compensation design for both taxable and tax-exempt organizations is a plus
  • Ability to travel 20+% of the time if required to meet client expectations
  • PHR/SPHR, World at Work, and similar human resources or compensation certification required
