Role:
The Manager of Business Analytics will work collaboratively with cross-functional team members and manage a team supporting Property Management organization that builds data-driven reporting, dashboards, tools and solutions that helps the business succeed. These tools and solutions should lead to business insight and enhance operational and customer analytics, leading to greater efficiencies. The Manager Business Analytics also provides project management support for large data related projects.
Responsibilities:
Provide oversight and direction to teammates to ensure reports and analysis are accurate, complete and properly summarized to aid in management of operations and decision-making. Ensure that teammates are properly skilled and trained to access large volumes of data and provide meaningful analysis and management reports.- Drive teammates to adhere to sound data-governance and forward-looking data visualization.
- Guide and support teammates through projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all activities are effectively and efficiently coordinated and completed on time and in accordance with our process, procedures and the underlying contract.
- Coach, mentor and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
- Play a key role in transforming reporting and data capabilities within the Property Management organization to enable data-driven decisions with high-level analytics.
- Play a key role in developing an analytics strategy and approach that is scalable, supports organizational objectives and enables economic thinking.
- Lead efforts to assist in analysis of anomalies identified during report development and review.
- Train others on technical knowledge of data stored in ERP and other systems including interrelated dependencies and flows into adjacent systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members regularly to prioritize value driven requests.
Expectations:
Experience building and implementing relational databases- Experience with one or more coding/statistical languages and tools
- Expert in Microsoft Excel, visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and SQL
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with, present and communicate confidently with all levels of staff and management
- Ability to summarize large amounts of complex data into management reports
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and delegate effectively
- Ability to align and plan with business partners in a collaborative manner to project manage and achieve results
Education/Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or Computer Science Preferred
Experience/Minimum Requirements
Five (5) years reporting and analysis experience working with various query tools- Two (2) years of people management experience
- Previous experience working with Accounting/Finance

Title(s) of direct reports (if applicable): Sr. Data Analyst
Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week) and where you do your best work 40% (2 days per week). There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that may require travel.
