Crown Connect is hiring for a Lead Press Operator - Komori Sheetfed.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced/professional Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 or more years performing as lead press operator, (preferably on a Komori 40” 6-color w/coater sheetfed press). The candidate must be capable of producing accurate and high-quality work in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate printing presses to produce high-quality prints
- Monitor print jobs to ensure accuracy and quality
- Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with the press as they arise
- Follow job specifications regarding layout design, color management, and print advertising
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all printing processes
- Communicate effectively with production staff regarding any issues or concerns
- Quality corrections are imperative, watching color throughout jobs
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to adhere to safety procedures
- Strong mechanical aptitude is a must
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Excellent organizational skills
Specifications:
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
