What are the responsibilities and job description for the Palletizer position at Crown Staffing?
Crown Staffing is now hiring for Palletizers! Our client is a meat and seafood distributor in the Hampshire, IL area.
These are 1st shift positions that will run from 8am until all work is completed, typically around 6pm, Monday through Friday. Pay will start at $18/hour.
Requirements for the Palletizer position:
- Must have previous industrial experience
- Must have previous experience working in a cold/wet environment
- Must have a HS Diploma or GED equivalent

Duties and Responsibilities for the Palletizer position:
- Palletize product as it is conveyed on the warehouse dock, ensuring product has been segregated by delivery location, date, priority, or stock items.
- Move palletized product to designated holding areas (dock, blast freezer, etc.).
- Re-label existing stock and stock cases to orders as requested.
- Separate products on pallets/racks following established policies and procedures.
- Ensure all products have successfully passed through metal detectors and x-ray systems.
- Perform visual inspection of all products to assure no damaged cases, cases strapped, no leaking product, all product labeled.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
