Compass45 is looking for a Guest Service Agent to join our team at the Crowne Plaza Aire in Bloomington, MN. We strive as a TEAM to provide our guests with the highest quality of customer service experience. Status: Full – Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
Reports to: Front Office Manager
General Purpose
Builds a first impression for the guests by providing punctual, courteous, and efficient handling of requests, including check-in and checkout, cashier registers, and answering calls.
Job Requirements
· Prioritize and organize work
· Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
· Work with minimal supervision
· Greet customers in a friendly and sincere manner
· Checking guests in and out in a professional manner
· Complete the registration process working with a computer system
· Count money accurately and handle cash, cards, checks, and vouchers, vigilantly
· Provide concierge services
· Transmit and receive messages using a telephone
· Provide satisfactory overall customer service
· Be of assistance to the Bellperson/Shuttle Driver
· Respond to guest inquiries and in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
· Provide or obtain accurate information
· Other duties as assigned by management
· Availability for flexible scheduling
· Communicate in the English language
Responsibilities
· Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
· Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes
· Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
· Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
· Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
· Process payments and maintain accurate records
· Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
· Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
· Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficient in using phone systems and computer software
· Strong problem-solving abilities
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Physical Environment
· Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
· Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds occasionally
· Must be able to stand and exert well-placed mobility for up to 8 hours
· Must be able to kneel, squat, bend, stoop, and twist to perform job duties
· Adequately communicate with guests, management, and co-workers
