Summary
The Manager, Membership Marketing executes marketing campaigns aimed at engaging and retaining members.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manage and implement email marketing on behalf of the organization through email marketing systems, including drafting of content, management of email communications calendar and evaluation of effectiveness of various email campaigns.
Execute integrated marketing campaigns based on approved marketing strategies, monitor results, and adjust tactics based on business needs.
Plan and coordinate all aspects of marketing campaigns (print, digital, conference) from design to fulfillment with internal and external stakeholders.
Write marketing copy (email blasts, website updates, brochures, etc.) and also proof and edit work done by others ensuring consistency and effective brand positioning.
Collaborate with Global IT and Global Strategic Communications & Research on database reports and other business tools to support sound marketing strategies and tracking of membership recruitment and retention.
Work with internal CLIA departments to identify and align on marketing strategies to support and leverage the business in support of enhanced value proposition for membership.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related concentration
Four (4) years of marketing experience to include data tracking and analytics, preferably in an association or trade industry setting
Qualifications:
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
Knowledge of integrated communication and marketing concepts
Demonstrated knowledge of email marketing platforms (preferably Higher Logic), and marketing automation technology
Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with limited supervision.
Skill in identifying intermediate problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
Ability to come up with unusual or clever ideas about a given topic or situation, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem
Ability to analyze complex data and identify trends
Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking and writing so others will understand for a wide variety of audiences
Skill in editing documents for correct grammar
Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality work and meeting deadlines
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
