Job Description

Engage in direct collection efforts regarding balances referred to internal Legal Collections unit via phone and email. This is a Remote position or if you reside near the following area would be a plus : MI, GA, IL, NY / NJ, AR, or Eastern PA.

What you will do for C&F :

• Negotiate installment plans within unit guidelines to help resolve the balance.
• Facilitate actual audits for estimated audits referred to unit.
• Obtain dispute details for on referred balances.
• Refer any settlement offers to management for review and approval.
• Assist as needed on an ad hoc basis.

What you will bring to C&F :

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of collection techniques and of collections.
• Excellent customer service and issue resolution skills necessary to work with both internal and external customers.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to interact with various levels of the organization. Must have a collaborative approach to developing relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Strong phone skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office Word, Excel & Outlook and of SharePoint.
• Experience with Majesco billing system a plus.
• Understanding of basic commercial insurance.
• Strong negotiating skills.

Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions.

The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $25,700.00 to a maximum of $58,300.
