Job Description
Compliance Analyst
Division: Accident & Health
Business Unit: Pet
Primary Location: Hybrid - Akron, Ohio with opportunity to work from home
Manager/Title: Content Review Manager
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Pay Type: Salaried
What you will do:
- Review content including insurance advertisements and operational correspondence to ensure compliance with Company’s pet insurance products and all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain advertising records.
- Assist in reviewing and assessing regulatory changes in state insurance department statutes, regulations, bulletins, etc. along with general industry trends to determine filing and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the compliance auditing function for content and conduct ad hoc reviews.
- Document and track corrective actions, as needed.
- Conduct research and develop reference tools for key issues impacting the insurance operation or pet insurance marketplace
- Help the Team (1) increase the level of awareness and compliance and insurance regulatory matters; (2) Schedule, prepare and conduct training sessions with key stakeholders and partners
- Maintain process documentation and help identify and implement new processes and tools to create better communication and efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Bachelors or Associates degree preferred but not required.
- 3 or more years of work experience in the insurance industry
- Understanding of U.S. Insurance Regulatory framework
- Strong written and oral communication skills with internal and external audiences
- Must travel to the office as needed
- May be required to travel to the New Jersey office
