**Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Closing Shift Associate for our busy restaurant. The closing shift associate is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant during the closing hours, from 6pm to 11pm. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety, and working effectively as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food service industry, a passion for sales, and a keen eye for detail. **Duties:** - Manage the front of the house during the closing shift, ensuring that all customers are served promptly and with a smile. - Assist in food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presenting dishes according to the restaurant's standards. - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety guidelines and ensuring that all food is stored and handled properly. - Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently and accurately, handling cash and credit transactions, and maintaining accurate records. - Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner. - Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management. - Maintain a positive and friendly attitude, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for customers and colleagues. - Demonstrate a strong understanding of basic math concepts, including cash handling and inventory management. - Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant. **Qualifications:** - Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in a kitchen or food preparation role. - Strong understanding of food safety guidelines and practices. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. - Basic math skills and experience with cash handling and inventory management. - Proficiency in the Aloha POS system. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. - High school diploma or equivalent required. **Skills:** - Sales experience - Food safety knowledge - Food service experience - Kitchen experience - Food preparation skills - Time management skills - Basic math skills - Experience with the Aloha POS system - Food industry knowledge
