What are the responsibilities and job description for the Partner Manager position at Crunchtime?
About the role
As the Partner Manager, you will manage and maintain relationships with the active SaaS providers our platform integrates with. You will manage partners for various product areas in collaboration with a product manager for different product areas, including, but not limited to, HRIS, Payroll, Point-of-Sale, and Applicant Tracking systems. You will prioritize existing integration partners in terms of the necessity for collaboration, determine what processes/levels the partner's organization entails, and define how we should work within those levels and their organizational structure. You will develop a deep understanding of the market to effectively communicate Crunchtime's solutions to active and prospective integration partners. You will work closely with Product Management and occasionally Sales to ensure we have the appropriate agreements with partners that meet our relationship goals. This role's current focus is integration partnerships with no revenue share relationship. However, future partnerships with a revenue share or referral component may exist.
What you’ll do as a Partner Manager
Partner management (85% of role)
- Manage day-to-day relationship with partners
- Meet and drive alignment on agreed partnership outcomes
- Regularly review the partnership roadmap and make relevant adjustments
- Maximize relationship potential by understanding and taking advantage of what
- information and levels the partners have
- Ensure the product team is aware of different areas to take advantage of, including
- free training, communications on product updates, and other areas
- Generate quarterly pipeline reports for integrations and escalate any relevant issues
- Track the number of customers using each integration
New Partner Management (15% of role)
- Identify integration partner prospects based on strategic fit / share of the market
- Discuss with partners and determine fit
- Handle inbound requests and discussions related to partnering with Crunchtime
- Work with agreements and negotiate the correct terms for Crunchtime
- Manage new partner onboarding through working with the Product Management team
What we’re looking for
- 3-5 years of combined experience in partnership or alliance programs
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build internal and external relationships
- Passion for and commitment to business success and a tested ability to maintain a high level
- of productivity while managing competing priorities
- An independent, organized, self-starter that can set their own direction when needed
- Strong understanding of products and understanding product data flows between solutions
- Experience working for an enterprise software company
- Experience working in Alliances or Partner positions
- Experience with partner contracts / agreements and demonstrated ability to alter/modify
- contracts to fit the situation
- Technical proficiency to understand and promote Crunchtime’s product to partners
- Solid understanding of SaaS platform integration and integration methods
- Travel 5-10% as needed
- East coast based or Central time based.
Nice to haves

- Strong Presentations skills including PowerPoint / Google Slides
- Working knowledge of POS, HRIS, or Payroll systems
- Familiarity with partner programs at Workday, Oracle, Toast, NCR, Intuit, or ADP partner programs
