About The Role and Team
Crunchyroll's Finance Organization consists of Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, and Business Intelligence team members based across multiple global locations. The FP&A team is seeking a high-visibility FP&A Director, eCommerce supporting our eCommerce line of business, reporting to the VP Finance, and working closely with the eCommerce leadership and operational teams at a time of exciting business expansion.
The FP&A Director, eCommerce will be operating at the heart of our eCommerce organization to support the global eCommerce and sits at the intersection of finance/strategy; eCommerce store, operations, and supply chain; and technology. There will be a strong focus on getting results through leadership alignment and supporting ground-breaking critical initiatives. The role may require occasional travel domestically and internationally.
About You
As our FP&A Director, eCommerce, you will lead the delivery of accurate, timely and insightful performance analysis of Crunchyroll's month end financials and budgeting/forecasting. You will be instrumental in putting together the global picture and implementing standard processes, working closely with partners across multiple global teams to understand the context behind the numbers and embed consistent reporting and process.
- 12 years' experience in professional financial practice/corporate finance, including FP&A leadership
- Strong business insight with robust understanding of e-Commerce
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work well with executives, internal and external partners, and to influence across various levels of an organization
- Strategic problem solver who also enjoys getting great work done
- Deadline-oriented and an ability to stick to time constraints
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Experience using NetSuite, Adaptive, or other enterprise software
- Experience across FP&A, process design, process mapping and process improvement
- Outstanding financial modeling skills and comfort working with large data sets
- Ability to understand and navigate large organizations and business functions
A Day In The Life of Our FP&A Director, eCommerce
- Act as an advisor to the eCommerce leadership team in evaluating current performance and developing long range eCommerce plans to track towards company goals
- Collaborate closely with leaders across the business to understand eCommerce performance trends, analyze and communicate the business impact
- Lead the annual budget setting and monthly forecasting processes, including setting targets, budgeting, communicating assumptions, coordinating, challenging, and providing submissions
- Drive alignment across eCommerce, Business Intelligence and Finance teams, on daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for management, developing consistent KPI's, metrics, and dashboards
- Support the eCommerce Operations team running the efficiency of supply chain and warehouse distribution through cost analysis, shipment metrics and inventory forecasting
- Collaborate with the eCommerce and Product teams on the store's average cart and check out efficiency
- Collaborate with Accounting on revenue recognition, product costs and margin analysis
- Evaluate LOB expansion options and plans to help formulate sustainable and profitable business growth initiatives across regional markets
- Provide strong ad hoc financial and business decision support on pricing, promotions, merchandising and marketing initiatives
- Identify and drive recommendations to business process changes based on experience, analysis, and standard methodologies for the eCommerce line of business
- Prepare presentations regularly to communicate budgets, forecasts and critical initiatives to senior leadership and the Board

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll's Total Rewards offerings for employees.
