CLOUD ADMINISTRATOR
Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, improve, and administer AWS-based resources.
- Build, install, configure, STIG, test and deploy AWS infrastructure and DevSecOps platform components as new requirements arise.
- Build, install, configure, STIG, test and deploy Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows servers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to an operating system(s), infrastructure, platform, network components, and software, as they arise.
- Perform routine systems administration, monitoring, and maintenance (e.g., version upgrades, patching, account management, routine troubleshooting) on AWS-based instances.
- Conduct routine audits of platform components and software to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and other relevant guidelines.
- Support the management and monitoring of numerous AWS-hosted features and services and maintain backups and disaster recovery of these resources.
- Produce documentation as needed on relevant systems operations and maintenance procedures to inform changes to applications and/or the platform.
- Document and propose improvements to business process workflows.
- Attend regular and ad hoc client meetings to coordinate/monitor customer satisfaction and overall program performance.
Education/Certification Requirements
- High School with 10 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (i.e., CCNA-Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, Security CE, CND, or SSCP)
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator-Associate certification or equivalent
- Certification in relevant technologies (MCSA Server, RedHat Certified System Administrator)
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive Systems Administration experience
- A minimum of 3 years working with AWS cloud technologies
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows server administration in an AWS environment.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of migration of applications and deployment of servers in an AWS environment.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of deployment, configuration, and maintenance of server environments in an AWS environment.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of information security practices (e.g., cryptography, privilege separation, RBAC, INFOSEC, auditing, patching, OS hardening) in an AWS environment.

- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and internal cross-functional teams.
- Excellent technical documentation and reporting skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
Clearance Requirements
- DoD Secret clearance
