What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Specialist/Payroll position at CS Wind America?
Main purpose of the job:
Under general supervision, this role is responsible for administering a variety of HR Processes including but not limited to payroll, workers compensation, leave of absence, employee benefits, reporting.
Main Responsibilities:
- Day to day payroll processes and employee data management activities in HRIS system for a large employer.
- Full cycle payroll processing of bi-weekly payroll.
- Process government agency requests for information and garnishments.
- Compiles audits, and coordinates the distribution of W-2’s and submit information to IRS and the states’ agencies on an annual basis.
- Assist with reviewing and verifying paperwork and documentation as needed for State Unemployment Taxing Agency (SUTA) audits
- Administer, communicate, implement, and holds in compliance all employee benefit programs including health, welfare, leaves of absence, etc.
- Manage escalation for sensitive leave of absence and when necessary work with Legal to administer ADA leaves throughout the interactive process
- Resolve employee questions and problems by interpreting benefit policies and procedures
- Support all HR Functions on the team, as required
- Develop and maintain trusted partnership with managers to create value and help reach business goals
- Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor
Skills Required:
- Experience with UKG/Dimensions Ultipro preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and additional software programs)
- Ability to complete responsibilities in a timely, professional, and quality manner
- Ability to interact frequently with others in a professional, courteous manner
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to handle and maintain confidentiality of data
- Proven analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to identify problems and systematically gather data, identify root causes and address data integrity issues

Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field with at least 3 years related experience in Human Resources.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
