CSA Capstone is seeking Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analysts to support the Federal Protective Services (FPS) Incident Management Division - Watch and Briefing Support Services. This position is in the Washington, DC area. Responsibilities
Collects, analyzes, and interprets geographic information provided by geodetic surveys, aerial photographs, and satellite data.
Research, studies, and prepares maps and other spatial data in digital or graphic form for legal, social, political, educational, and design purposes.
Works with GIS. Designs and evaluates algorithms, data structures, and user interfaces for GIS and mapping systems.
Maintains situational awareness of OHS related events, incidents, and threats.
Provides GIS support to incident reporting, briefings and RFl's.
Maintains the ArcGIS database, ensures data layers are updated.
Prepares executive-level reports and products, to include Senior Leader Briefs, IRTYQ memos, talking points, and other such documents, as directed by the SWO.
Conducts limited analysis on data in the response to RFl's.
Produces, reviews, and briefs the DISAR.
