CSA is currently seeking a Logistics Analyst to provide direct support to a government client in NAWCAD Lakehurst, NJ.
\n- Perform various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems
- Work on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life cycle cost analysis and control; weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility; Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution; and, ILS/R&M program management analysis
- Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information
- Develop, modify, prepare or validate documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems
- Analyze, procure and track SE and related logistics elements (publications, etc.) delineated within the Program
- Perform case-specific SE research under the direction of the LKE Weapons System Manager (WSM) and Integrated Logistics Support Manager (ILSM)
- Conduct Market Research required to procure assets delineated within the LOA
- Maintain an action item tracker for all program-related tasks and alert the WSM/ILSM of any schedule slippages
- Provide technical support for system/design requirements determination and SE acquisition
- Support preparation of all acquisition documents for the procurement of new, COTS/NDI, and modified SE end-items including technical specifications and Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Participate in program meetings, phone-cons and conferences. Execute assigned action items on schedule
- Engage educational tools (DAU) to remain current on acquisition policies and procedures
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills required to communicate internally
- At least six (6) years of experience in Defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics
- Clearance: At a minimum, Interim Secret clearance is required prior to start date
- BS or BA degree; an additional two (2) years of experience working in direct support of Defense life-cycle logistics can be substituted for a BS or BA degree
- Working towards Professional Logistics Certification
