Some of the things you'll be doing
- Develops and maintains a strong understanding of CSC products, and services.
- Collaborates as main point of contact with business leads, IT team, 3rd party vendors, and stakeholders to capture project requirements, manage scope, budget, and timeline.
- Manages projects adhering to scope of hours and budget including the use of project management tools, regular project status reports, and other best practices.
- Balances the need for standards and structure with the need for flexibility and trust while creating role clarity and team accountability.
- Demonstrates sense of urgency and escalates potential opportunities and/or issues.
- Recognizes best practices, captures lessons learned, and promotes knowledge share to constantly improve the Project Management value proposition.
- Creates and manages standards for consistent PM oversight of all projects.
- Participates in vetting and prioritization of projects based on alignment with organizational goals.
- Organizes work to be inclusive of team and business needs and creates an environment based on trust and ongoing feedback for improvement and growth.
What technical skills, experience and qualifications do you need?
- 2 years of direct project management experience.
- 5 years of related working experience in a financial services or consulting organization
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong systems and Microsoft tools experience.
- Strong project management skills.
- Solid business acumen that connects the what, when, and how with the why.
- Ability to challenge in a constructive, safe, and healthy manner.
- Significant analytical and process execution experience.
- Demonstrated professional presence when interacting with clients and teammates.
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities to fulfill commitments successfully.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Creative thinking and innovative problem solving.
- Detail oriented with an innate ability to look for accuracy as well as absence of key details.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidential information.
