What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Auditing Specialist position at CSCI Consulting?
Responsibilities
- Support audit remediation activities, such as developing/updating process documentation (e.g., narratives and flow charts), and developing/implementing corrective action plans to address findings
- Support remediation of deficiencies identified within service provider systems and ensure necessary security controls are in place and effective
- Provide targeted area support, such as performing root cause analysis and audit coordination
Minimum Requirements
- Active Secret DoD security clearance.
- Active Top Secret DoD security clearance preferred.
- Certified Information System Auditor (CISA)
- 3 years of auditing information systems or providing IT audit steadiness experience.
- Bachelors’ Degree in a technical discipline
- A degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Ability to work with clients to understand their needs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Professional presence is required.

- Capability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
- Ability to maintain a positive relationship with customers and other vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies.
- Possess motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value.
