CSCI seeks a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) to support and provide multi-discipline security support to the Department of Navy's Special Access Programs (DONSAPCO) to advance the Department of the Navy's interests (requirements, innovation, oversight, and fleet implementation) with a 15-person team of subject matter experts and security professionals.
This position is on-site, Monday-Friday. The primary duty location will be the Pentagon, with an alternate worksite in Springfield.
The minimum requirement for this position is 8 years of professional security experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) environment.

Responsibilities :
The CPSO primary responsibilities include, but not limited to :
- Serve as the Contractor Program Security Office (CPSO) for the N98 Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) and Temporary Secure Working Areas (TSWAS)
- Serve as the Assistant Security Coordinator (GENSER) and Assistant Security Representative (SCI), in which duty role will support the needs of the N98 Security Representative on day-to-day tasks and organize personnel requirements.
- Provide subject matter expert continuity during personnel transitions in support of N98P Special Programs Branch.
- Conduct periodic reviews to support accreditation compliance.
- Maintain a personnel Program Access Request (PAR) process that includes package preparations, obtaining supporting documentation, routing / tracking the package through the approval process, and maintaining a current access database.
- Schedule and attend meetings, briefings, and program reviews for CNO / N98P and represent N98 as required
- Provide Annual Refresher Training to personnel yearly and maintain training records in personnel files.
- Accept and make calendar invites for N98 personnel and customers to utilize the CNET VTC, the CNET computers or the AF NAV7, ensuring space for members / customers to discuss classified information.
- Facilitate meetings by checking clearances and providing a space for members / customers to discuss classified information.
- Check SAP access before meetings to ensure everyone attending the meeting has the same access to prevent disclosures or to help tailor briefings and meetings to the access permitted.
- Maintain Access Control for the facility by managing who comes into the SCIF / SAPF, ensuring the Visitor Log is signed, and validating any clearance checks.
- Continuously maintain Personnel Files for all N98 Personnel, including PSQs, Training Records, PIAS, and other applicable files.
- Brief / Debrief personnel on any approved programs, file them into personnel records and utilize debriefing documents for when personnel departs N98.
- Submit account requests for personnel to receive CNET, SIC, VSD, and CED accounts, file them, and provide any paperwork needed for account approval.
Required Qualifications :
- US Citizenship is required.
- AA / AS or equivalent experience in a security or business related field required. BA or BS in a security or business related field preferred.
- Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility and Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
- 8 years of related experience required in the DoD environments.
- 6 years experience with SAPs within the DoD.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be willing to actively communicate with co-workers, program leadership, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations.
- Working onsite Monday - Friday.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Prior military experience preferred, but not required.
- CDSE SAP Overview course and SFPC Preferred
Experience Levels :
LEVEL 1 requires a minimum of 3 years related experience
LEVEL 2 requires a minimum of 5 years related experience.
LEVEL 3 requires a minimum of 8 years related experience.*
LEVEL 4 requires a minimum of 10 years related experience.
This position is consider a Level 3.
Training / Certifications :
Basic Information Security, Department of Defense Personnel Security Adjudicator Course, Marking Classified Information, Derivative Classification Course, and Personnel Security for Customized Adjudication.
