We are looking for a Controls Specialist!
We build equipment for global automotive leaders which means we ramp up when the market slows down. We enter our client's facilities during non-production periods, such as Christmas break, to install/modify/confirm equipment. We need someone with PLC experience and knowledge, particularly in Allen Bradley controls.

What You’ll Do
We’ll rely on you to work alongside a team of independent but collaborative professionals, doing the following:
- Low and high voltage wiring of control panels, communication boxes and other highly technical devices
- Assist with low/high voltage wiring of controls devices at customer locations (throughout North America)
- Assist with low/high voltage wiring of automation equipment built by CSI Group at our facility in Lexington, KY
- Work closely with seasoned veterans to build and confirm highly technical devices for the automotive industry
- Assist seasoned veterans with hardware, PLC, HMI and safety PLC design tasks

We are a rapidly growing automotive manufacturing consulting and automation firm based in Lexington, Kentucky and Toyota-City, Japan. Our team supports multiple steps in the production preparation process, including mechanical/electrical design, and equipment import. We are known for being adept at bridging gaps in international engineering space.
Salary
This hourly position pays $25-35, depending on skill level and experience. Overtime is expected at 1.5x regular rate.
Qualifications
A combined 5 years of professional experience, high school diploma, vocational school or secondary education degree is required.
Training will be provided if you meet the qualifications or experience in the automation field. Safety training will be provided, and safety will remain the focal point of our daily activities.
Experience:
5 years of experience required. Allen Bradley PLC proficiency required. Electrical engineering/trade school or relevant work experience required. Robot teaching experience not required but would be advantageous.
Education:
High School Diploma, Trade School, or secondary education diploma required
