What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Courier position at CSI Laboratories?
Job Summary:
Courier will ensure samples are delivered and/or picked up from doctor's offices, hospitals and airport as necessary. Responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor with clients. Follow all applicable laws and safety regulations. Proof of current auto insurance coverage as required by CSI. Ability to drive to multiple locations totaling 350 miles daily.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure samples are delivered and/or picked up as necessary.
- Be at the specified pick-up and/or drop off locations at the times specified within reason.
- Maintaining records, such as vehicle logs, pick-up/drop off logs and records.
- Report any accidents, delays, or any other traffic and transportation situations for required follow-up by Supervisor.
- Respond to all calls or voicemails in regards to pick-ups, missed pick-ups or receive additional instructions.
- Maintain accident and citation free record.
- Other duties may be assigned by Supervisor as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Non-technical laboratory personnel must complete at least six hours of continuing education annually.
