Company Overview:
CSS is an organization that provides Personal Care and Support, Skilled Nursing, and Community-based healthcare services. The agency is licensed by the State of Georgia to provide community based healthcare services for the young, elderly, and those with developmental disabilities. Services are rendered by Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and Licensed Practical Nurses who are supervised by experienced Registered Nurses and other support professionals. The company also contracts services with metro Atlanta counties.
Position Description:
This position is primarily responsible for performing billing and records functions, tracking and uploading services hours, processing and uploading employees' payroll, payment of invoices, recovery of accounts receivable, research to verify vendor payments, monitor payments received and any pending or outstanding matters, researching other information related to accounting and service matters, supervising field employees (caregivers) as may be assigned, and reporting to the Administrator or General Manager as directed. The role also requires full participation in the company's quality improvement program.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Management, or related field from four-year College or university.
- Relevant experience working in a payroll, billing and/or accounting position.
- Relevant experience working in an administrative office position.
- Strong customer service and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional, Outlook, and Web based systems.
- Positive, upbeat attitude.
- Accurate file keeping.
- Accurate data entry and ability to meet report deadlines.
- Proven ability to adhere to detailed and specific policies
- A Master's degree in business is an advantage, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
