Duties
Support and improve existing on-premises and Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure. Design and implement new on-premises and Microsoft Azure systems while implementing best practices and industry standards to meet contract requirements. Migrate on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure cloud and configure Microsoft Azure monitoring and alerts for cloud resource availability. Review and monitor on-premises and cloud based Windows and Linux virtual servers for any updates and maintenance required. Collaborate with application development and data engineer teams on day-to-day tasks along with project planning and implementation and be responsible for the administration of Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices. This position is eligible for telecommuting.
Requirements
Employer will accept Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field and five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in an engineering-related occupation. Alternatively, employer will also accept Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field and two years of work experience in job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.
