What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Support Specialist position at CSWI w/Subsidiaries?
Responsibilities
• Help drive Service Department sales.
• Provide information to customers related to all areas of service offering, including warranties, care and
maintenance of product and service contract options.
• Maintain frequent communication with customer base and gathers information to ensure their
satisfaction, both via phone and email.
• Must have a solid understanding of all product and service offerings to ensure activities meet customer
and Smoke Guard specialties goals.
• Place outgoing calls to known customers based on initiatives and existing work.
• Correspond regularly with customers providing new product information, brochures, and any program
updates.
• Maintain and present a professional image via telephone or in person.
• Support Service Account Manager territories with items such as but not limited to customer insurance
certification requests, new vendor documentation, scheduling adjustments, set up work order inspection
visits from customer requests, and identify and develop warm leads for Sales Account Managers to
connect with.
• Update customer database regularly to provide the most up-to-date client information for the sales team.
• Accurately perform data entry of sales orders to generate an invoice of products ordered to be picked up
or delivered. Secures payment of invoice with proper funds or obtain credit authorization in accordance
with company policy.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills
• Knowledge of administrative systems, best practices, and clerical procedures
• Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
• Able to listen, understand, and interpret information accurately
• Able to communicate effectively, with a high degree of professionalism, in writing and verbally with
both internal team members and external customers directly.
• Must be highly organized
• Able to coordinate people and resources efficiently to meet business needs
• Proficient in MS Office suite products, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
• Excellent time management skills, highly energetic, and self-motivated
• A passion for helping others and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and
team members
• Technical aptitude and strong computer skills (MS Office and database software)
• Ability to multi-task and maintain an organized workflow
Experience
• 3 years’ experience working in a customer facing role (retail manager, customer service, marketing, or
sales admin)
• Proven ability to multi-task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of
benefits within each product
Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Physical- This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard
office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
