Description:
16 years of experience. Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.

The Program/Project Manager will independently lead, manage, and coordinate specific projects for the Office of Lottery and Gaming (OLG). The Manager will work under Executive Direction to provide leadership in the planning, development, and management of projects consistent with our strategic goals and business objectives. The Program/Project Manager will identify internal and external best practices for quality implementation of assigned programs and projects. The Program/Project Manager will work with a team of vendors, business and technology members and other staff. Manager will also be responsible for leading, managing and coordinating activities, and will collaborate closely with various colleagues from IT and business areas to provide the most effective support. Responsibilities include researching, analyzing, developing, coordinating, managing, and implementing projects under supervision of the Executive Director and COO.
The Program/Project Manager will possess project management experience involving multiple stakeholders, complex integrations, contract compliance and necessary analysis.
Responsibilities:

  • Accountability and ownership for the successful implementation of assigned programs/projects working with key stakeholders to implement projects on-time and within budget.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead meetings and regularly communicate project status and updates to leadership, stakeholders, and the team.
  • Identify and communicate project risks, issues, concerns, and possible resolution.
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop resources requirements and understand budget requirements to develop project plans
  • Facilitate and own the creation/management of technical specification documents for complex projects by interfacing with technical liaisons, vendors, and developers, as needed
  • Manage and work with 3rd party vendors to support OLG programs/projects.
  • Manage day-to-day execution of project implementations. Manage the planning, design, build, tracking, UAT, documentation, and status updates for projects ensuring compliance with contract agreements and regulations.
  • Participate in end-to-end implementation planning, including project management, issue management, communication, and change management.
  • Drive project optimization by identifying opportunities across various platforms to reduce cost and improve performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.
  • Manages teams of contract Support Personnel at multiple locations.
  • Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
  • Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items.
  • Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.

Required Skills

  • 16 years of Information Technology Experience in progressive, providing full lifecycle IT application services in enterprise environment
  • 16 years of experience in managing, coordinating, and establishing priorities for entire project lifecycle
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
  • 16 years of experience in progressive consulting/management leadership role, providing full lifecycle IT application services in enterprise environment
  • 16 years of experience in developing and monitoring program/project operating budgets, costs, and schedules, and contracts
  • 16 years of experience in working within technology areas such as Application Development, Infrastructure, Quality Assurance and Testing
  • 16 years of experience within technology areas such as , Technology Risk Management, or Program/Project Management Offices, and/or Business Operations
  • 16 years of experience & leadership skills leading large-size program operations & project efforts, managing multiple concurrent workstreams & service delivery
  • 16 years of experience in managing multiple projects, budgets, costs, schedules, contracts, and service deliveries
  • 16 years of experience with Project Portfolio and Resource Management & effective use of standard project management tools such as MS Project, Jira & Confluence
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills at a management level
  • 16 years of experience in client facing with project leadership with specific focus on governance and risk for technology operations
  • 16 years of experience in Managing Projects using Agile/Agile Hybrid Methodology/Agile certification
