Full Time 1st Shift Openings Available—7:00am- 3:30pm - $18.06 Hourly

The Inventory Specialist will be an important part of the inventory program. They will oversee the processes and procedures for the designated program and should be familiar with working with a large volume, small part inventory. Must be able to organize large amounts of data and be able to pull key information out of the data. A continuous improvement mindset will be important in finding the right candidate for this position.

Job Responsibilities:
- Verify stock information and unit identification numbers Inventory and Audit equipment and parts
- Unpackage, sort and stage units for production
- Receive units using RF handheld devices
- Maintain accurate inventory
- Perform cycle counts and audits per company policies and procedures
- May perform duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to appropriate locations
- Stacks and stores product in designated areas using a forklift, push-pull or other powered equipment.
- Pulls and prepares products for shipment
- Ensures that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
- Performs picking duties in an efficient manner which meets customer service standards
- Moves product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers
- Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
- Maintains appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security
- Assists in physical inventories.
- Ensures proper stock rotation.
- Conducts cycle counts as requested within “WMS”.
Required Skills:
- Ability to prioritize workflow
- At least 1-year of forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment
- Willingness to become forklift certified for site
- Attention to detail
- Experience Managing a team
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to motivate others
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and work outdoors for long periods of time
- Flexibility in schedule
- Computer and excel skills a plus!
