CTG is seeking a remote Cerner Charge Services Analyst for a long-term legacy project as this large client is moving to Epic!
Project Duration:18 months initial

Responsibilities:
CTG is seeking an experienced Cerner Charge Services Analyst for remote work after an initial onsite knowledge transfer.
Job responsibilities will include:
• Provide application support services for Cerner Charge Services
• Develop, modify and maintain Charges and Charge Tiering in Cerner Millennium
• Analyze requests for new charge build, and make recommendations related to best practices
• Follow client’s documented Demand Management process to obtain approval for changes
• Build changes in the test domain, work with user to complete testing, and move to production according to the client’s change control process.
• Provide support for projects and other special application initiatives
• Troubleshoot errors and provide timely and high quality customer service
• Document issues and solutions
• Work with client users and functional teams as needed
• Escalate issues to the vendor as needed, and monitor vendor tickets for resolution
• Utilize the ticket management system Remedy to track issue status and work efforts
• Participate in 24x7 call rotation
• Work closely in conjunction with the Charge Master at the client site
Required Skills:
• 3 years’ experience in build and support of charges in Cerner, including extensive use of charge tiering and tier matrix builds
• Build in DB pricing tool and bench charges
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to communicate resolutions to customer
• In depth knowledge of revenue cycle and charge capture workflows
• Experience with 340b
• Acute and Ambulatory charge experience preferred
• Experience with charge reconciliation from electronic reports
Secondary
• Experience on an acquisitions team
• Translating financial information into digestible content for clinical and IT end users
• Knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management
On-Call Rotations will be required
