Accounts Payable Specialist

What You'll Do:

• Review expense reports to assure that all documentation is in place and that all policies are followed
• Prepare and analyze reports for travel related expenses
• Prepare and review Accounts Payable and supporting documentation
• Process payments for approval and distribution to vendors
• Process payments to consultants as required
• Review monthly payment activity to ensure accurate coding and make journal entry reclassifications as needed
• Manage open vendor invoice statements to ensure compliance of payment terms
• Maintain vendor listing and associated metrics
• Maintain accounting records and assist with monthly financial reporting cycle
• Assist with maintenance of the Intacct accounting system, automated reports and dockets
• Special projects as needed
• Other accounting functions as needed

What You'll Bring:

• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Base background/knowledge of accounting principles
• Exceptional attention to detail and deadlines
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
• 1-2 years analytical, accounting, finance experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
