What are your responsibilities?
- Key participant in business development including RFP responses, bid interviews, and engineering sales calls with potential clients.
- Attend internal project kick off and follow-up meetings to support projects.
- Create high level system conceptual drawings and documentation to help define a project’s scope of work
- Oversee multiple projects at any time at different phases of their project timelines.
- Be the lead decision maker for all aspects of the integration implementation along a senior technician.
- Commission and train clients in their projects as well as deliver all close-out documentation necessary for a given project at system handover.
- Other duties as needed.
- Education: Associates degree is preferred, but not required. We take into account your experience/skill level and what you bring to the table as an individual.
- Attitude and Aptitude: Are key! We need someone who is eager to learn and comes to work ready to tackle any situation.
- At least 5 year experience in broadcast engineering, including authoring design documentation for broadcast technical architectures.
- Experience in broadcast engineering sales is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of broadcast technology, equipment, facilities, and production systems used in the Media and Entertainment / Broadcast industry. Formats include high-definition, UHD and HDR video systems deployed using analog, SDI and SMPTE 2110 IP transport protocols.
- Understanding of TCP/IP routing, ACL’s, QoS, VLAN’s and Wireless Access Points.
- Experience with various hardware and software architectures, including: High Performance Data Storage (SAN, NAS), Video and Media Data Management (Archive and Backup Strategies), Media Asset Management Platforms (MAM) - CatDV, IPV, Primestream, Dalet, Reach Engine, Edit Share, Iconik, networking, cloud platforms, and storage architecture.
