Overview
CTIS is looking for project manager to support our client. The project manager will provide leadership, supervision and management of a team for application and mobile systems development, implementation and data management. Acts as the central point of contact with the contracting officer, contracting officer’s representative and other project managers. Responsible for the management of all work performed by contractor staff and subcontractors on this project. Communicates and coordinates with the contractor’s project managers and other contractors regarding the status of various tasks and the issues facing the project teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans
- Evaluates and manages riskManages and oversees all aspects of projects to ensure it is completed on time and within budget
- Monitors project milestones and summarizes progress of project
- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to government facilities, systems and data.
- Overall responsible for managing cost, scope, schedule, staffing, vendors and contractual deliverables
- Participates in PMO process improvement initiatives and programs
- Plans and manages all project related communications
- Prepares reports for client and PMO manager regarding status of projects as directed
- Provides technical oversight to project team
- Responsible for enhanced client user satisfaction of mission critical business processes and service
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience in clinical data management systems is a plusExperience in projects involving Microsoft ASP .NET development, and Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle Database systems including SQL authoring and debugging is a must.
- Experience on supporting cloud-based solutions or migrating on premise solutions to cloud is a plus
- Experience with HHS/NIH Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) Framework a highly desirable.
- Experience working in health care within NIH environment is a plus
- Five plus years managing multiple software development projects
- Five plus years using Microsoft Project
- Minimum 8 years of experience in customer service, account management required
- PMP certification required
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels of IT and business management;
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
