Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee all financial aspects of our company's operations and drive the company's financial strategy and planning. The Controller will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and internal controls to ensure the company's financial health and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close process, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide insights and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with financial reporting and tax requirements.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, sales, and human resources, to drive cross-functional initiatives and achieve company goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role, with a track record of success in financial management and leadership.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
