Strategic
● Cultivate & strengthen various relationships at all levels at Wegmans
○ Sushi - interface with the culinary team to fulfill current and future needs
○ Prepared Foods - as above
○ Seafood - build relationships and look for new opportunities
○ Private Brand - cultivate relationships and seek to be included on new bids for branded frozen foods
○ Grocery - develop relationships with the buyers for Asian & Japanese foods and seek opportunities
● Maintain and grow existing sales accounts
● Collect and analyze data to understand changing needs
● Serve as point-person for customer service related issues for new and existing accounts
● Collaborate with internal departments to ensure fulfillment of customer requests
● Develop regular Ideation sessions for clients to educate them on new products, trends, and
Tactical
● Organize workload around Sushi & Asian Project List and provide updates through Bi-Weekly meetings
● Prepare and maintain an extensive cost and pricing profile for all products and manage pricing negotiations thorough preparation.
● Maintain timely and accurate information reporting for ongoing projects
● Provide and maintain accurate sales forecasts and share with teams.
● Manage project timelines and coordinate with team members
● Follow QA protocols and procedures to be BRC compliant
● Work with QA to handle complaints in a timely fashion and own customer communications
● Review sales orders and manage inbound schedule
● Provide inventory analysis and optimization
● Remain on top of new sales trends and emerging technology
● Build and present reports and presentations for customer
● Provide relevant customer development progress with internal teams
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 per year
