Description
We are seeking diligent and reliable individual to join our team as Custodian at Omnipure Filter Company. The Custodian position will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout our facilities.
This position involves some heavy lifting and physical tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting, to maintain cleanliness in all areas of the facility.
- Empty trash receptacles and disposal of waste in designated areas.
- Ensure all surfaces are properly disinfected and maintained to company standards.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap, as needed.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Always adhere to company policies and procedures.
- This position involves working indoors in varies areas of the facility with varying temperatures.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, or a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in cleaning roles.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform various tasks, including standing, bending, kneeling, sitting, and climbing stairs.
- Availability to work overtime on weekends, as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
