Job Title: Farm laborer

Location: Blue Lake, CA

Department: Cultivation

Status: Full Time/ Part-time

Pay: $17 - $19 /hr.

30-day probational period

Report to: Cultivation Managers

Summary:

Culture Management holds multiple cannabis licenses in Northern CA. We strive to foster a team atmosphere throughout the organization which has and will continue to help us navigate through the always changing cannabis industry supply chain. Culture Management currently has a position available in its cultivation department 10,000 sq ft of mixed light tier 2 green house cultivation.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Prep greenhouse beds, by amending and tilling soil to ensure that soil is full of nutrients when transplanted.
  • Transplant into a proper location on the farm by following the planting schedule to ensure that harvesting date goals are met.
  • Ensure daily watering and feeding of garden spaces by utilizing either hand watering or drip system to provide sufficient water to growing plants.
  • Assist in the daily spraying and application of IPM schedule by using hand wand sprayers and proper equipment to protect plants and reduce risk of plant diseases and insect infestation.
  • Assist daily plant maintenance by Leafing/bottoming and trellising of plants so plants grow in a manner that will ensure the biggest yield possible.
  • As a team, properly harvest in accordance with company policy to properly track harvest in METRC.
  • Assist in properly organizing dry space to stay compliant with State regulations
  • Execute duties and maintain standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties as required or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education/Experience:

  • 1-2 years of cannabis industry experience
  • 1-2 years of indoor cultivation experience (preferred but not required)
  • 1 year of METRC’s experience

Language Ability:

Ability to read and understand daily tasks and goals: ability to read and understand nutrient and feed labels and instructions

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure including common cultivation math ( ie. milliliters, liters,cups, quarts, gallons )
