HOURLY RATE: $16.00 LOCATION: This position works at our Beeson Park location located in Winamac IN.RESPONSIBILITIES: The qualified individual will perform the work necessary to maintain the cleanliness of the Academy buildings located on Main Campus and our Beason Park location in Winamac, IN. Responsibilities involve the following duties: Provides building maintenance, repairs windows, screens, electrical, plumbing, and paint.Cleans floors, furniture, drinking fountains, toilets, urinals, showers, walls, light fixtures, windows, and glass areas; washing, scouring, polishing, and similar work of a custodial nature as dictated by a specific schedule.Operates riding lawn mower, weed eater, chainsaw, tractor, power-driven floor sweepers, scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and waxing machines. Rearranges furniture to be able to clean areas thoroughly.Mow and weed eat Beason Park property. Removes trash from buildings, cares for Beason Park property adjacent to buildings, sweeps walkways.REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must possess a High School Diploma/GED and a valid Indiana driver’s license with a safe driving record; on-the-job training will be provided. This position is physically demanding and requires that an individual have the physical ability to meet the job requirements, which include reaching with hands and arms, lifting, and carrying a minimum of 25 lbs., climbing stairs, climbing ladders, bending, stooping, and extensive walking. Must be able and willing to work at two locations, the main Culver campus and Beeson Park in Winamac, IN.
