Culver Franchising Systems, LLC is looking for a dynamic Director of Finance and Accounting to manage the Finance and Accounting functions. This team oriented leader will lead record, report, AR & AP, audit, consolidations and reporting to assure accuracy, timeliness, controls, compliance and strong financial insights and projections used to support Franchisees and the Culver Franchising System (CFS) Support Team in adding value to the Culver’s brand.

- Develop, enhance and maintain positive business relationships with all franchisees and Culver’s support team
- Own and oversee all aspects of the Accounting, Audit and Controls processes and governance to effectively & accurately prepare periodic financial closes within GAAP
- Lead & develop the Accounting Team to enhance performance and promote engagement.
- Provide detailed oversight, accuracy and controls of all AP & AR activities
- Lead the review and analysis of monthly sales for accuracy, updating and preparation of royalty calculation and documentation for revenue recognition, and EFT transmission
- Lead and communicate CFS financial results and analysis to various stakeholders according to published finance and accounting calendar and distribution list
- Support the budgetary and periodic forecast process with finance analysis team to effectively prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasting of CFS
- Provide guidance and oversight of company restaurant and system wide financial reporting, analysis and insights in a meaningful and applicable format
- Lead Deferral Agreements and Notes Receivable documentation and general ledger
- Oversee the tracking of franchisee financial statements per Franchisee agreement compliance
- Work with franchisees and their accountants to elevate the quality of financial statements
- Oversee annual external audits of key financial processes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 7-10 years related experience with minimum of 5 years managerial experience.
